May Update

New month, new update post.

Last month was a blur. I did a lot, and I feel like I did nothing. I made some cool new pages, I have yet to find a permanent home for the links to one of them though, and making them has made me want to redo my entire layout, but that is way too much work for right now, so I may just change my index page, and/or my landing and link pages, and leave my blog pages as they are, I haven't decided yet.

I also have some plans for some blog posts about specific topics, one about my tattoos, one about my perception of how children are treated in today's society, and why I think it is that way, and one about fiction as a means of exploration. I also do still want to try to write a blog post in spanish, my only concern is accents seem to break the font, so we'll see. If/when I do write that post, it will be short and messy, I understand spanish very well, I speak it okay, but my writing is something I never really practiced, since my means of learning was all spoken, also my grasp of grammar is almost non-existent. That is the purpose of writing blog posts in my target languages
1) it shows me my weak spots
2) its writing practice
I am nervous about posting it, but i don't really think anyone reads my blog anyways, so what do I have to be nervous about, the chances of another spanish speaker coming across it are slim, and if they do, so what? They may even have some tips for me.

I haven't decided if I'm going to post pictures of my tattoos on my tattoo blog post, or if I'll just describe them. My main concern with taking pictures is just how to get a good wrap around picture(s) of my sleeve.

I am very proud of my bulletin board page, and everything I add to it just makes me love it more, I got the inspiration from lazybones, and I'm happy with what I've come up with so far, and my clever solutions and problem solving to get everything situated. I also really like the little polaroid-like pictures I made for that page, and my solutions for posting some of my drawings on there too.

I was thinking about writing two blog posts today, this one, and one of the aforementioned ones, but idk if I'll get to that today.

My husband has his next chemo appointment on tuseday, so that will be a very long day. I had scheduled my tattoo appointment for 2 days after what was supposed to be his last chemo treatment, but his white cell count was too low, so it was skipped that day, and rescheduled for this week. I'm a bit frustrated at that, not that there was anything anyone can do, but my tattoo appointment was supposed to be some me time, some downtime after taking care of him, but he didn't need much taking care of last week. My new tattoo is partially on my elbow, so I can't really lean on my elbow like I used to, because it's sore and bruised. It's healing beautifully though, my artist is fantastic, his work is always impeccable. I really do want to show off my tattoos, I'm not too concerned about them being identifiable, even though they are all entirely unique, again, it's more just, idk how to photograph my sleeve, I'll probably need to get help. The rest of them I should be able to photograph myself though.
